Thanks for speaking out on this and sharing your experiences. More people need to be informed about the details of the policing system to see that it's flawed at it's core, and celebrities using their platforms to speak out helps a lot.

I just saw this, and I agree and I think more people need to make an active decision to help and if you see something say something. I reported this on my Facebook (the only platform I make any kind of effort on to communicate through). But I just wanted to say I think you sound like an amazing human being in general. You care, and a lot of ppl would've done the opposite and put their music out so they could get famous faster. But you care about other human beings and that's rare but special. My first real boyfriend and I were a mixed race couple he is black and I'm clearly white. The first year we dated I had a friend get his car sprayed with bullets and he passed away and on his car those racist C U Next Tuesday's wrote the N word, and almost anywhere my boyfriend and I would go some white person would tell me I needed to date my own kind and same for him with black people and we would get heckled and we got chased a few times it was a awful and terrifying. And the fact that people would tell us to date our "own kind" I always found funny cause we are all people (humans) so I am dating my own kind lol. But there just aren't enough decent people in the world anymore. It's rare to find people who care and love life and everyone in it. It makes me so sad. But thank you for sharing your story with us and I wish you great success you're clearly very talented. I have 3 nights and mona lisa on an hour loop for each song depending what mood I'm in lol. Be blessed and I'm rooting for you. Remember fake it till you make it smile every day and eventually it'll become habit or second nature. God knew how special you were and we are all blessed to be able to share in your music. Proud of you. Keep ur heart of gold my dear :)

im late but defunding wouldnt help, nowadays this barely even happens, if we defunded them we would have nobody to protect us, plus not all cops are bad, very few are bad, i like your music but this opinion is stupid to be fair.
