I stopped play chess for like 2 years and I randomly got back into it a month ago - perfect timing! Congrats on this crazy occasion!

Wow!! I am so happy you and your new company are doing so well. I've never posted on your videos before, but I am an avid watcher. Also, Chessable is great. I plan on getting some content soon, but with a little one running around it's hard to study. I just got the book Imagination in Chess you recommended. It's really a great read.

It’s no coincidence that you’re there with Magnus! It’s so satisfying to watch your hard work pay off. Congrats, John!

Thanks as always John. Your videos have helped me so much, more than any other source on YouTube, as I've picked the sport back up recently. I play with a 76-year old at an assisted living home occasionally, and he suggested I go to Chessable.com, but I had no idea you were involved and a founder! Now I know I'm sure to find great content there.

Congratulations John, I've been a silent participant in watching your videos, really brought me along in my Chess for a good few years at this rate. Felt I had to make a first (possibly second) ever comment to recognise what a fantastic moment this must have been for you and to say that we're all bouyed along by your accomplishments!

John Bartholomew
Hey guys! Hope 2020 is treating everyone well. I've been busy these past few months working on a comprehensive endgame video course for the website I co-founded, Chessable. It took me about 3 months, 200+ individual videos, probably 150 Starbucks iced coffees, and thousands of re-takes, but I'm happy to announce that as of this past Monday, Jan. 21, it's out! Please check it out below.
Full 100 Endgames You Must Know course: www.chessable.com/100-endgames-you-must-know/cours…
Free endgame bootcamp (good if you want to get a flavor for the content or brush up on some endings): www.chessable.com/endgame-bootcamp-with-john-barth…
I also want to share something amazing that happened just this week in connection with the 100 Endgames release. Since our company was purchased by Play Magnus/chess24 this past August, the world champion himself, GM Magnus Carlsen, has taken a keen interest in the Chessable platform. Magnus has been playing in the annual Tata Steel tournament in Wijk aan Zee, Netherlands the past two weeks, but - astoundingly - he agree to film a brief promotional video for us *during* the tournament on one of his rest days! My awesome Chessable co-founder, David Kramaley, arranged the whole thing on short notice, and soon I was on a plane from Minnesota to Amsterdam. Long story short, on Thursday, I was able to sit down and record and chat with Magnus for about 30 minutes! Truly an experience I will remember for a lifetime. I hope to share the video on my channel with you guys soon.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you all are having a good weekend!
