If it's anyone but Ken I really don't think the show would make sense in it's entirety, it's pretty clearly always meant to be him.

I believe the name Romulus gives some clue as to the fate of Roman and Ken. Romulus in the Roman empire was, along with his brother Remus, the founders and first rulers of the city of Rome. Romulus ends up betraying his brother and killing him in response to what he believed was Remus mocking him - leading to Romulus being the sole ruler. The writers have previously drawn inspiration from old fables and historical events and people. Tom giving Shiv a scorpion being the best example, as it is a direct reference to a fable called the Frog and the Scorpion. This story perfectly encapsulates their relationship and inevitably how it fails. I believe Romulus will draw inspiration in a similar fashion. But i do believe that him being CEO won't last long before shit hits the fan with all the sketchy stuff he has done. So my guess is no one, with some characters such as Greg getting high level jobs at Waystar.

I think they have kendall go full Logan. He cuts out Roman due to his poor decisions, they already got shiv. Gregg ends as COO and Tom has control of ATN. Kendall knows a toms a servant for his own success now tied to Ken

Honestly "nobody" seems like a cop out. Realistically, extremely flawed people get positions of power they don't deserve. My money is still on Kendall, in spite of everything.

It will be either Kendall or frank if they want the company to continue. If the writers want the company to die -similar to our empire here in reality - then no one will "win" as gojo either buys the company or dissolves it
