Put it this way, even if it doesn’t, the rockstar fanboys will rewrite history in real time and gaslight everyone into believing it did.

Nope, micro transactions are gonna be through the roof along with $100 price tag and a subscription plan! NO F#@KING THANK YOU!

It would literally have to be the single greatest piece of media ever to live up to all this hype so I doubt it

It HAS to from a marketing standpoint, I'd imagine. Think of it this way. This has taken 12+ years to develop, Rockstar, apart from RDR2, maybe, have put all their eggs in this one basket, it's probably going to be the most expensive game ever produced by the time it's all said and done. They have to sell a ton of units and probably keep selling an ungodly amount of Sharkcard-like subscriptions to an online service they're inevitably gonna have. It would be devastating if it did not

Anything but being the best game ever made up to that point is going to break the hype. On top of that, it has to contend with the previous entries too. And on top of that, weve seen how they treated GTA online versus GTA V. Can't imagine the multiplayer component will be smaller.

I think that the single player campaign in going to be gutted in favour of GTA Online 2. Online is where Rockstar's money is and they know it.

Yes and I’m tired of people acting like it’s gonna flop like the game took this long for a reason

No. I suspect it’ll play and feel the exact same as GTA 5 but this time with boundary technology and breathtaking graphics. Thats enough for some, but that’s not enough for me. Pretty graphics don’t do much for me if the game feels soulless and the gameplay is hollow, and that’s exactly what GTA 5 feels like to me. Could they innovate? Sure, maybe they will. But I don’t think they will. GTA 5 is one of the biggest moneymakers of all time, making something too radically different and new would be too scary for the shareholders, they need the masses to have something comfortable in order to continue printing money with another GTA.

No, it won't. The cynic in me thinks Take Two's executive meddling will get in the way of the game itself, and the single player will be taking a backseat to the multiplayer since GTA Online is such a money making freak. Audiences will still absolutely eat it up though, either way.

100$ price tag is gonna make it a little steep unless your a genuine fan boy/girl and shill out your mortgage for it. Then they're gonna charge you for sharkcards again...or they do paid dlc and kill thier game. Just do 50-60$ and cry rockstar

If this will be the last GTA... Then it must beat San Andreas and GTA 4 graphically, have better story than GTA V, gta 4 physics and more
