Mark Hyman, MD

Sleep isn’t just about feeling rested—it’s the foundation of your metabolism, brain function, emotional stability, and even how long you live.

In this episode, I sit down with world-renowned sleep scientist Dr. Matt Walker to break down:
🛏 Why waking up at the same time every day is more important than total sleep hours
🧠 How poor sleep rewires your brain, making you more impulsive & emotionally unstable
🍽 Why sleep deprivation makes you crave sugar & store fat
💡 The real reason your phone is ruining your sleep (hint: it’s NOT just blue light)

If you’re skimping on sleep, this episode will change the way you think about rest forever.

@kathybjorn1001

I was only impacted by lack of sleep and a bad news narcisistic 20 year marriage and an infection and finally perforation of a small intestines and bad medical care by poor hospital personnel that terrorized me. Bad life experiences have impacted my life experiences and sleep. Not the other way around!!! Liars, gossips and haters. Sleeping fine now, single with no provocation of the lies, the jealousy and gossips over the years, and realizing I was just a kind quiet person and easy target of so many people's projections and their problems. Too old and happy to be bothered now. Blissful peace. And sleeping like a baby. Still a morning crab til my head clears, LOL.
