I had this happen to my male cat and it was the dry food especially if you feed them dry that have color/dye in it like friskies would immediately cause it and he like dry food more than wet because I fed him both. And the way that I was able to remove that blockage before he went to the hospital was dilute Bragg's vinegar with water and use the baby dropper to insert it in his mouth. It immediately flushed him out and he started using the bathroom. But once completely blocked it is a serious scary emergency especially in males. And my baby constantly had UTIs and that Bragg's vinegar was the best thing. I ended up losing my baby in 2022 due to kidney issues. He was 10 years old. I pray for your baby and I'm glad that you was able to catch the signs early and be the voice advocate and noticed that he wasn't able to use the bathroom. Because a lot of pet owners dismiss it and not aware. May your baby recover soon🙏

Poor Orion 😭 he'll probably be in the hospital for a few days. This is very common with male cats, it's from the food and they don't drink a lot. My cat had this, he's fine now. He's on a special diet that costs a arm and a leg, but it's a mus

Que, this is the same thing I went thru with my male cat Frisky. He almost died on us and had to rush him to the hospital right away. He was so weak and he could not eat, drink and we notice he hasn't used the bathroom in 2days. He had the same urinary blockage and had to get an emergency surgery. It was the dry cat foods that messed his system up, I don't recommend dry cat food at all. Bless your baby I hope he gets well very soon. I know what you are going thru. Prayers for your baby.

Oh no! My cat had a UTI and luckily the vet treated it before it turned into crystals/stones. I now have him on a urinary food and fresh water at all times to prevent it from happening again. Praying for your fur baby 🙏
