I've received a lot of comments asking me to talk about the current state of bedrock

The truth? Most of the issues that were introduced in September have now been fixed. The game is still less reliable and more error prone, but it should not affect the standard player most of the time. From a "fixing the problem people complained about" 1.21.124 did a good job.

More fundamentally though? I think bedrock is still brushing past too many bugs, accepting too low of a standard for new updates. It is the norm that drops release with major bugs that aren't fixed for many weeks, and this will likely happen with Mounts of Mayhem.

Bedrock Minecraft is technically really impressive, but it feels deeply neglected in so many areas, almost too many to talk about. This is a shame because it's the version most players have access too, and the one that is meant to be for creators to build in.

The game is playable, but fundamentally needs a look at in many key areas. I hope Mojang decides to do this soon.

Sorry for the long post,
TL:DR - bedrock is better than it was a month ago, but still worse than it was 2 years ago in terms of bugs - and dramatically worse than the console editions it replaced 8 years ago.
