Asalaamu alaikum , staying awake to witness al-shurooq ( the dawn ) is such an intimate part of the day ! It's after the fajr prayer has been offered , that you get to dhikr ( remember ) your dreams and aspirations and prep for the continued day of domestic matters . But , just watching Al-shams ( the sun ) rise with this sakinah ( tranquility , ) peace and quiet while the world sleeps is just wonderful ! The rahma ( mercy ) of Allah truly encompasses all of creation . ¿ Did I forget to mention that it's a Sunnah ( prophetic ways and practice ) of our Nabi ( pbuh ! ) so you know there's some good ! Alhamdulillah ( all praise is due to Allah ) swt ) ( glory to the most high ! )
