Petite Dressing

Style isn’t about height—it’s about strategy. I'm 5'2"- Let's break down why it doesn't work BEFORE, and why it works better AFTER.

❌ Don't wear a hip-length sweater with wide pants and sneakers
❌ That divides your body into unflattering proportion
✅ Do wear a sweater tucked in and pair with a mini skirt + tall boots
✅ Add a belt to emphasize your waist

Such an improvement! Thank you for all of these helpful tips! Another help? When wearing high neck items? Put hair UP! Less dragging down weight, all collected in one spot. ❤

The before look would suit me much better, because I'm short, with a short body, but relatively long legs. If I tuck in my tops, my body looks out of proportion, so it's better for me to wear my tops untucked or with a front tuck.

Maybe for some that’s to stylish for every day. Would be helpful if you could style it with closer to the original idea. like for me who does not like dressing up or adding extra 😅 would love some help with that

DON’T STAND NEXT TO A TALL PERSON — the best solution to look taller for any petite person. 😛

First one looks comfy and practical.

My current belly and bum need covering and I don’t feel comfortable tucking my top in. Also, I don’t wear mini skirts. My outfits generally look like the one on the left (minus turtleneck) and I thought I was doing ok. 🤷🏻‍

@Maimuke

Visually, ok. Practically, not so much. The situations to wear those 2 very different outfits are also very different. For that reason, the improvement looks good but does not "solve a problem." Which is: how to look good in a sweater, wide pants and sneakers.

I like it how you look with pants. Yeah the second manages better the proportions but o wouldn't say the first one doesn't work.

I love your style in the left picture too, both are good! The only thing I don t like is the big turtle neck! Thanks for all your good advices 😁

@Obseye777

I like the first one because the pants balance the bulky sweater that hides your neck. The other one makes the person look like one of those wine bottles w a knitted cover, the sweater's neck is too bulky to pull off a skirt with it.

Could the sweater work with trousers or straight leg jeans/pants and kitty heels with pointy toes?

@danamalka7887

I never used tall boots, but I like them, I'm 1,55cm. Now I can try your tipo.
