People defend it like it's a feature, and so very eagerly- a fkin 60hz display in late 2024, on a phone that cost well over 800$ (regular Iphone and Plus versions, which depending on your memory requirements starts to jack up in price). The optics are already pretty good for our time, there's no denying that, so are the processors from Apple, but the display/screen is where we spend most of our time. When people justify the 60hz with something along the lines of- "oh, the 60hz on the iPhone is better than the ones on Android..." Yes! Absolutely true, if you're comparing a 150$ Android to an 800$ iPhone. Almost any Android over 200$ has a 120hz display (which is likewise better than the 60hz display on the iPhone), and at the 300-350$ range you start seeing 1.5k displays with competitive processors from Qualcomm or Mediatek. Crazy.
