Crossing Into God’s Appointed Time: A Reflection on Moon River and Today’s Revelation
Two weeks ago, I shared a song called Moon River without fully understanding why it stirred me so deeply. At that time, I had no knowledge about the prophetic significance of the moon relating to the feasts, or how they intertwined with God’s appointed times. Yet, the Spirit led me to release it anyway. Now, standing here today, I can see it wasn’t random.
The moon has since been unveiled to me in ways I couldn’t have anticipated. Its role in marking God’s calendar, signaling seasons and transitions, has come alive before my eyes. It is as though the Lord was preparing my heart before my mind could catch up. He had me share a song I discovered and liked two weeks ago that I would only fully understand now.
Moon River speaks of crossing over. A river represents transition — a moving from one place to another. Coupled with the moon, it paints a clear picture: I am crossing into an appointed, prophetic time — a threshold where heaven’s calendar and my earthly calling align. As the Israelites crossed the Jordan River into their inheritance, I sense I am crossing into a new season, one marked by both challenge and promise, where God's faithfulness will guide me into what's next.
Then came the confirmation of the number 153. I started a new position at work on 5/1 in which my team’s name is Prime Time, and today’s revelation on 5/3. 5/1-5/3 or 153. John 21:11 speaks of the disciples pulling in a catch of 153 fish — a symbol many believe points to a gathering of souls. This isn’t just a number for me; it is a sign that a season of increase is unfolding, not only in my life but also through this ministry which I prayed for. Whether through YouTube or in ways I haven’t foreseen, God is preparing for more to come in — a gathering drawing near.
Each moment feels like divine timing, with God orchestrating the details — from the start of this new season in work, and the prophetic countdown. These aren’t isolated occurrences but signposts pointing to a greater purpose unfolding.
I now realize the Lord has been ahead of me the whole time:
– The song released before the understanding
– The revelation given before the manifestation
This is more than personal. I sense this is for others too — those who are watching, waiting, and sensing that we are nearing something appointed. The Moon, the River, and the Gathering all testify: a crossing is here.
In this season of focused prayer and dedication, I am sensing a sharpening of my spirit, preparing me for the new things God is revealing. As I step forward, I feel both the weight and the excitement of the transition. This is not just a personal journey; it’s an invitation for all who are attuned to the signs to recognize that we are being gathered for something greater. Together, we are crossing into a time where God will make His purposes known.
