“I don’t know what to build.” “I don’t have an app idea.”
Here’s what you can do:
Start by building projects to solve your own problems. Yes, you have problems. Everyone does. You just need to open your eyes to see them.
Next, share what you’re building online to find others with similar problems. Ideally you should find out where they hang out (X, Reddlt, IG, YTube, etc)
Initially, give them access for free to get feedback. The more the better. Try to notice patterns and focus on building important features.
Iterate fast, keep sharing and repeat the process.
Once the product is polished enough and has a bit of traction, add 1-3 premium tiers (paid) with extra features and benefits.
Don’t wait for too long though, you need to figure out if this product has potential to make money or not.
One-time payment is easier to sell at first (and easier to implement). When you see more sales coming in, you can add a subscription model (if the product offers a recurring service).
If the first product doesn’t work, no problem. At least you: 1. Solved one of your problems 2. Got a ton of experience that you can talk about later
Next, try again with another idea until one works.
