As you can see in the photo I pointed out, her teeth are in very bad condition. I asked the vet if it might be possible to save a few of them, but he explained that giving anesthesia to cats multiple times is not good. If we only extract some teeth now and leave the others, those remaining teeth will need to be removed again within a year. That would mean a second anesthesia, which is risky for her.
For this reason, the vet thinks it’s best to remove all the rotten teeth in a single procedure.
