I am not totally against the stuff they are adding, but it really seems like that's all the updates are. Just adding "stuff" with no real gameplay changes. And the more they have added the more broken the gameplay is. Survival is not really hard to survive. You can easily create a large farm and acquire diamond tools in like 20 or 30 minutes of gameplay.

I personally think that 1.12.2 is the last version of “old” Minecraft. It was the last version with the Beta 1.8 panorama, the last version with that familiar old feel, and the last version that was “building upon” the Beta 1.8 version of Minecraft. 1.13 onwards the game started to get completely overhauled, and every new version has a new menu panorama.

Honestly, all of the 1.21 updates are basically an era on its own, for how many updates they keep cramming into the same version number. Lol

Green torches for when your build just wouldn't be the same without green torches.

Welp, I'm back to Better Than Adventure. I'll see you guys next year, I guess.

@picleus

Give it another year or two to see if the seasonal drops method works out. If it does, it may make it's own era with Caves and Cliffs Part 2 as the end of the previous era and the Wild Update with the new era. Defined by relatively smaller and more self-contained updates. Not really my thing, but I hope they can make this work out. I like the idea of small content drops, but I don't like changes to worldgen within a single world. Updates that add new biomes or structures feel too big to be a drop IMO.

@AstroChara

I don't really agree with the whole Golden Age thing, but for this one I'll gladly agree. Copper stuff is absolute banger. (Shoulda made copper tools occupy iron's place while pushing iron up durability-wise tho)
