I don't remember who turned me on to The Band. I believe it was Tony Carreiro my manager when I was working a part time job in high school. He went on to acting and teaching. I joined the ARMY and out of nostalgia bought a cassette to listen to on a friends cassette player. Up On Cripple Creek I believe was my favorite. Maybe I saw them on MTV when they used to play classic rock. A snippet from The Last Waltz maybe, that would have done it. We had MTV in the barracks, and The Playboy Channel (remember Marilyn Chambers) LOL. Porn has come a long way eh? CAN'T BELIEVE ROBBIE is gone. Along with Leon. RIP. LOVED ROBBIE singing a Christmas Song on a compilation Winter, Fire & Snow. Songs For The Holiday Season. Christmas Must Be Tonight. have a listen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_yGduG6tuY
