Both Gentaro and Annie were raised by the zookeepers. I think they will get along fabulously together.

Congratulations Gentaro!!! Goodness, I’ve been so sad watching him. He just seems so lonely lately. Annie reminds me of Genki, caring and smart. He’s a lucky guy, he got a good one. I hope they all have happy lives.

I'm so happy for Gentaro and Annie but I can't help to think of how bad this will affect The Shebani family, they will all miss her so much, except for NeNe. Shebani and Kiamosa will really be heartbroken and Ai will be the only female left with the boys. I hope they move Kiamosa soon as well. I have conflicting emotions right now. I'm happy and worried at the same time😮❤

How exciting! I can hardly wait to see Gentaro calm and happy with Annie and with a baby too someday. The pictures of Ueno zoo on google show pandas too.

Gentaro will be moving to Ueno Zoo.
ゲンタロウが東山のアニーちゃんとの繁殖を目指して、上野動物園への移動する事が決まりました！
アニーちゃんとペアになってくれたら嬉しいなとは思ってましたが、いざゲンタロウの旅立ちが決まるとやっぱり寂しいですね . . . 。
でもとにかく今はゲンタロウとアニーちゃんが何事もなく無事に上野へ移動して、将来素敵な家族を作ってくれる事を祈るのみです。

⭐️It has been decided that Gentaro from Kyoto City Zoo and Annie from Higashiyama Zoo will be moved to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
⭐️Se ha decidido que Gentaro del Zoológico de la Ciudad de Kioto y Annie del Zoológico de Higashiyama serán trasladados al Zoológico de Ueno para fines de reproducción.
⭐️Было решено, что Гентаро из зоопарка города Киото и Энни из зоопарка Хигасияма будут переведены в зоопарк Уэно для разведения.
⭐️Foi decidido que Gentaro, do Zoológico da Cidade de Kyoto, e Annie, do Zoológico de Higashiyama, serão transferidos para o Zoológico de Ueno para fins de reprodução.
⭐️Telah diputuskan bahwa Gentaro dari Kebun Binatang Kota Kyoto dan Annie dari Kebun Binatang Higashiyama akan dipindahkan ke Kebun Binatang Ueno untuk tujuan pengembangbiakan.
