The British TV Logo Captures Archive

GREAT! action pulled a Bonanza this evening. The Baron was scheduled to begin today, but an episode of The New Avengers aired instead. I kind of had a feeling it would be pulled since just like Bonanza, GREAT! didn't schedule the show from the very beginning and instead scheduled a random episode. Still, this is the second time that a show was scheduled to air on GREAT! action only for it to not air. The Bonanza incident not only was in July, but the show was scheduled to air again in August, and it still never aired! I have no idea what's going on behind the scenes but the same mishap happening twice must mean something. I seriously hope these shows do officially premiere on GREAT! at some point. I'm quite disappointed seeing a show due to air, then it gets pulled last minute. Would be nice to let GREAT! know we want to see Bonanza and The Baron finally air, but I think getting GREAT!'s attention proves difficult. I'm not trying to start a movement, but it would be nice if more people could let GREAT! know about these scheduling decisions.

Also, doing all these US TV captures for my The American Logo Archive channel, and it's making me realise how many logos are pretty much extinct over here, and some were even extinct back in 2018 when I began logo hunting. I've already found four Screen Gems sightings, meanwhile I've only seen the S from Hell on I Dream of Jeannie on Rewind TV and previously Forces TV. I've also found two NBC Snakes already, the only NBC Snake I saw on TV was on that I Dream of Jeannie episode. Episodes of Bonanza with the NBC Snake did air here on CBS Action in 2018, but the logo was always cut, I did see an episode where you could see a frame of the logo kept though. Even thinking about it, some logos I've only seen on TV movies on True (TriStar Television, Lorimar) and some logos I haven't seen on TV at all since I began hunting (Turner, Paramount Closet Killer, Colex, LBS). Obviously the US will always be the best in terms of US logos, but it's always been so lackluster in terms of US finds on UK TV. I know there'll always be a bunch of new shows making the rounds every now and then still, but there's a lot of logos I feel like should be a lot more common over here, but they're either extinct or only have a few surviving sources. I suppose I could maybe make a video comparing UK TV and US TV, because I could ramble on about this for a good while and it seriously isn't worth your time.
