I think it’ll be good enough for us blue lock fans, but I really hope they delayed the release and upped the animation, cuz I really think if this arc gets peak animation, it could cement itself as the goat of sports anime. There’s a lot of voice acting over slideshows, hopefully that means they saved budget for important actions scenes

The tone of the animation is darker which I like. Kinda shows the stacks of the matches and stuff we finna get into. Field design looks a little more upgraded and I hope they fix the background shots from just the traditional white background

It just has a much darker tone, which fits Blue Lock's theme. They also tweak the shadow and the contrast. But that's it. It's just a bump up of graphic quality. But for the animation (the illusion of movement from frame to frame), I don't think we'll get any upgrade in this department.

First picture - Idk Isagi looks a little goofy, in this scene the sweet melody of ending in the background and Isagi's voice is a little softer in the trailer, very funny lmao Second picture - It was nice with op's intro in the trailer, but just with this Third picture - LMAO WHY IS NAGI LIKE A GUEST CHILD HE'S SO CUTE Rin...my goat...I look forward to seeing you most of all in the new season...🔥 And Yukimiya sits like a gentleman bruh💥💯 Fourth picture - WHAT THE HELL IS THIS FACE OF SHIDOU IT'S SO HORRIBLE HE'S GOING TO MAKE ME HAVE A NIGHTMARE MY MAN WASN'T LIKE THAT😭 Fifth picture - Say classic hello to CGI General - Well, realistically the animation looks like crap in the trailer... Apparently from what I've seen on TikTok, the Isagi voice actor said most of the budget has gone to the U20 match. And this doesn't look so bad actually, there are some issues still but nothing is perfect. I do hope what Isagi va said was true and the reason the Third Selection looks a bit rough around the edges is due to the U20 match focus. I'm exicted for S2 despite being a more newer fan
