I haven’t had a problem but I’m on the SP. So I can only imagine the pain of losing my tracks. That’s a mess.

I lost 4 beats after updating to 2.10 and the pitch and tone of my beats changed after trying the 2.11 update. I went back to 2.9.1, I was thinking maybe because I'm on the renaissance.

I cant seem to save my beat that i was working on with NEW!!! Adjustments and sounds. I also accidentally deleted a beat trying to delete the one i didnt want and idk which one i deleted. Hope its not one of my fav ones. I have like 10 beats but i wouldnt remember them if one got deleted. Im transferring everything to a new sd card. Im thinking of saving projects to a usb now. I dont trust sd cards unless if its an mpc problem.

@lindasson

So far so good, but I don't like feeling nervous while making beats

@Beatz-Pocket

I lost one beat on the MPC Key. I was about to open up Fabric XL and then all of a sudden the Key turned off.

No issues with the One so far (standalone)..but in controller mode, the MPC software has closed out once and I lost an hour's work.

@smokesbeatz

I lose so many beats in 10 years from MPC 1.0 - 2.11 but i learn something over the years ( I learn to remake everything back ) in general all the beatmakers make beats and the program make your job when you still working with limitation. Learn what and how you do ??

@immortalph

It’s a bug… Make sure you save often until it’s fixed! You’ll definitely remember to hit save after losing some real heat!

@the.wanginator

No issues here

@BIGLARRY100

Mine's been saying "save failed" but it doesn't lose the beat or reboot. I've just had to save it by trying a few times & it eventually does it. It's the 1st time I've ever had this & it was after the new update

Haven't had any issues with 2.11.X Maybe they need more bug testors? I have to be honest....this equipment is way more complex than it needs to be out of the box. Is it flexible and awesome?👌 Are there still people making videos on the operation and we see them getting lost in menus and options and don't know where to reach immediately for what they want? 👏 Idk.... maybe AKAI needs a whole seperate branch of updates that is just a basic mode....I mean basic asf for people that want to just sample and break and do some minor mixing mastering n processing. Then again maybe my approach of completely cutting out the DAW aspect and trying to remain solely standalone on such an advanced mpc is depriving me of knowledge to roll with standalone only. It's a different ag
