Today we lost a legend. Ozzy Osbourne has passed away at age 76 (July 22, 2025), surrounded by loved ones. As the “Prince of Darkness,” he shaped the sound of heavy metal with Black Sabbath and later with solo classics like Crazy Train, Iron Man, and Paranoid. He battled Parkinson’s and yet still gave fans one last epic performance on July 5 in Birmingham’s Villa Park — singing from his throne in a triumph of spirit  .
Ozzy’s music helped define what rock guitar could be — dark, raw, emotional, and unapologetically bold. His riffs still resonate with every power chord we crank up today. Thanks, Ozzy, for giving us the soundtracks for rebellion and expression. Your voice, your attitude, and your riffs will echo through our amps forever. 🎶
