The museum is awesome. People forget, or don't know, that the museum has NOTHING to do with who gets voted in. Blame the BS committee for that.

Watched the most recent induction. I was blown away to see the members of Soundgarden, including Hiro Yamamoto, receiving honors. Chris was smiling down for sure. An amazing night!

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame died to me when they put in rap artists. And now they pretty much put in anyone.

I prefer The Musicians Hall of Fame. Everyone is and was nominated by their piers , and a public vote.

I stopped paying attention when they inducted Madonna in 2008.

Rap and country inductees, choosing Jethro Tull as metal over Metallica? They have no standards that matter. I say this as a Cleveland native that has been in there too many times.

I live 5 minutes from here. I work for the company doing the remodel. Looking forward to this video!

I don’t have an issue with including artists from other genres, but change it to the “Music Hall of Fame.” We’re also close to running out of artists who’ve made a lasting impact on music.

On the bright side, Rolling Stone magazine recently reported that there are no rap songs in the Billboard Top 40 for the first time in 35 years.

Probably the most moving moment was when Jack White said “I thank you and my sister thanks you” probably for the final time. People whine about the RRHOF all the time but. The annual induction ceremonies absolutely justify the Hall’s existence.

They've always been a joke, and will continue to be a joke until they recognize SLAYER

It’s all politics… you have to bend the knee to the blue committee

Syd, well done piece. I knew some of this info that you provided, but even more I wasn't even aware of. Nice use of clips from Steve Miller and Paul Stanley.

Careful, next thing you know they’ll turn your pyramid into a Bass Pro. -Memphians

I dont mind other genres getting in, but they still have to do rock musicians right if they are letting those other genres in.
