Master Samwise

Hey. You. Yes, you. Did you know there are TWO Red Dead Redemption games? Yeah, wild, right? Like, they didn't name it Red Dead Redemption 2 for nothing. There actually was a first one. Everyone else forgot about it, but not me. I dug it up from the archives. There was a hole in the archives, too. Steam sales with dead links, pointing to a space where a game should have been but wasn't. Had to go see an old friend in the undercity to get the coordinates to John Marston. But I did it. And now you can take that journey with me.

A game that looks like a videogame? Preposterous, did this come out right after pong?

I preferred the ending and overall story of the first game. The game never really preached that John was a good man, but that his actions were noble and he met a noble end dispite his flaws. RDR2 spent too much energy on Arthur redeeming himself through good actions once he was faced with his own mortality. Performing good deeds does not make you a good person. And on their own are not enough for redemption.
