It is very interesting that George got way more up in arms over Fire and Blood than with Game of Thrones. Which is not that good of a book by comparison. Maybe he’s fed up, but he’s been way more complimentary to dumb and dumber than Ryan condal despite hotd being not as bad as the later seasons. Unfortunately there have been major characterization problems and the daemon vision and Helaena stuff were extremely bad ideas that should have been scrapped. Mysaria is definitely the character most damaging the show right now and needs to have major quality control put on her since all her scenes are written very stupidly
