The latest maritime clashes between China and the Philippines are increasing tensions in the South China Sea, and raising the stakes for the US. Washington could find itself dragged into a direct conflict with Beijing, as it is treaty bound to help defend the Philippines from any armed attack in the resource-rich seas. Chinese vessels are a common thing in Brazilian northeast waters, where they illegally catch tuna. They already shot local boats.

The British Standards Institution is a Royal Charter Company and is governed by its Royal Charter and byelaws. As it has no share capital BSI is what is termed a “non-profit distributing company” because profits are re-invested back into the business.

This is not fair, a superpower like China intimidating and bullying a small and relatively poor nation like Phillipines. I suggest they should concentrate instead on rejuvenating their own economies. That's what will rank high in this game of survival.

They are bullies! They know the Philippines military doesn’t have similar powers. They are flexing their muscles knowing the Philippines can’t fight back. Someone with a stronger military presence needs to teach them a lesson. Unfortunately, It’s the only thing that stops bullies.I hate bullying behaviors.😡

The US Navy should never allow this to escalate to this situation. They need to be escorted these ships and provide fire support. No way in the world china would risk direct engagement with the United States as they would get trounced
