With it officially NASCAR Week in Indy next week (I'm not calling it "Brickyard Week" again until the Cup Cars return to the correct course at IMS) it also means Trucks come to IRP.

Of course, NASCAR 's history in Indianapolis actually began in the early 80's when the "Budweiser Late Model Sportsman" now Xfinity Series came to Indianapolis Raceway Park beginning in 1982 in the first edition of what was the "Kroger 200" which would run for 30 years. The last edition of the race was held in 2011.

Found a clipping online of the ticket order form to the 1985 edition of the race.

This was a cool find for a race that my Dad attended all 30 editions of, and I attended everyone from 1992 until it's end.

@NotSteveCook

I'd rather that all 3 series race at IRP on Indy 500 qualifying weekend.

IDK why everyone is clamoring for the IMS oval; when it's a massive bomb next year, y'all will be wanting the Indy Roval back!

Cant stand the road course, having it on the oval is a tradition that dates back 25 years, NASCAR is going downhill and im so glad i haven’t watched in years
