What is your reaction to John Cena's heel turn?

@robertmcdiarmid4921

I first thought of the Krusty the clown moment, "Why now? Why not 20 years ago?"

Neither of those. But as a guy who's not a fan if WWE, that was a well done heel turn. If you're gonna do it, make it memorable and they did.

I was there in Toronto. I figured out it was happening the moment he stuck around after the Chamber. I knew there was no narrative reason for him to be a part of the segment unless he was a huge part of the segment. If it was all about Cody having a moment with the Rock, it definitely would have been in the middle of the show.

Where's the "too late" option?

To be honest I saw this coming, he was supposed to be a heel during his last run and this run didn't really have the big buzz around it. Now it does the finally pull the trigger I just fear it's too late

The disappointment on his face when he said they’re saving money.🤣🤣🤣

I think it was done perfectly. You think it's gonna be a babyface v babyface main event, a respectable battle but then, Cena turns heel. My only issue is his final run will be a heel run, but Cena as a heel opens up a whole new set of storylines. I waited 13 years for this heel turn

The needs to be an option for both as the way I feel is a bit of both. I feel it's 10 years too late, but I never thought I'd see the day where Cena was a heel

My reaction was man I cant believe how good vince is at booking wrestling while on the hook for sex trafficking. He sold the company got his 8 bill let rock hold his shares and ran this masterful angle in the shadows.

I think it's interesting enough for the WM build, but I'm also 10000% positive that he'll be face again before officially retiring.

Most shocking kayfabe moment of the 21st century. Especially with Cody dropping the uncensored f-bomb.

"Who cares?" Needs to be an option. This sort of thing would have been impactful around 2011 but it doesn't really mean anything right now. They're just pandering to the fans who've been asking for it for years right before John leaves for the last time. I like John but this version of him is pretty lame. He's got the Jim Varney (Ernest) haircut with a giant bald spot and a pasty white body while he's still wearing his jean shorts and sneakers from the 2010s. Him and The Rock both look old. They don't need to be in the spotlight anymore.

Better 20-years-too-late than never?

@karlmoore7406

Doing it in his retirement year makes it less impactful

I'm sick hearing about Cena's heel turn already! Doesn't help we haven't seen or heard anything from him since he did it!

My reaction was "Too little, too late". Mixed with a little "Seen it coming".
