Biggest hugs! Remember those in power want us to feel like this. There's way more protests and people taking action than we know about because big media is ignoring it and social media algorithms aren't pushing it either. Watching this grow after having seen the failures of occupy, I know it's going to succeed. That was big and showy action with little planning or cohesion. We're doing a lot more planning this time and I think the lack of media coverage is going to work in our favor as it's allowing us to plan and grow and become strong and cohesive enough that when we do go big we'll be unstoppable πŸ’ž

I leave this quote... "There are men who fight for a day and are good. There are others who fight for a year and are better. There are those who fight for many years and are very good. But there are those who fight their whole lives: those are the indispensable ones. Bertolt Brecht " There are things /topics / matters that are impirtant/basic for human kind and are worth fighting for them independent if we succeed or not. Just put your grain of sand, effort.

Does anyone remember a time when protestors/activists would storm and take over television studios to get their message out to the masses. I miss the old days, sometimes.

It's pretty damn depressing, for sure. But the work you do is inspiring. Hope is the thing we lack the most, and we have to keep it and grow it in our communities. You inspired me (in part) to devise a system of community organizing for here in nz

I've been pretty depressed about the state of anarchism lately, mainly because it feels like anarchists don't seem interested in participating in the labor movement in particular and mass organization in general. I've found that I have less and less patience for the more common small scale affinity group actions of anarchists. It's bizarre to me. It's like we have lost interest in revolution or think revolution will take the form of black bloc.

Great. Just a comment. This post took eleven hours to show up on my YouTube. Keep the good work going on!

Recently helped get a medical debt relief campaign going in Kansas City; my contribution was relatively small, but it hasn't made the world worse

Right now I'm actually getting ready to launch a socialist card game to try and educate people and bring them joy at the same time! Help in whatever ways you can.

@Impossibleshadow

Thanks, I needed that. I was doing activism yesterday and got into a traffic incident on my way back. I just was too exhausted. I”m fine, but very exhausted after fighting for years

Maybe you could experiment with your preferred system of Anarchism in virtual/gaming worlds? I know creating a virtual environment or a new game would take more than a few weekends and more than a few programmers, but the point that I'm making is that if there were virtual spaces where people could experiment with variations of the two systems that you presented in your post-Capitalism video, you might start to grow the movement and even crystallize some of the ideas about how to organize and calculate cost of production, etc. It would be a huge undertaking Yes, but a much smaller undertaking than trying to establish a physical space of anarchism at the moment. However, it could very well catch on and develop the ideas to the point where establishing physical spaces of anarchism become much more feasible. Plus it is something that could go viral. Not to mention that the coding assistants that will be here within 2 to 3 years will probably be able to help reasonably good programmers create very sophisticated virtual environments. So, what is very difficult to produce today will be much easier to make within a few years. You know, when aircraft manufacturing companies design a new airplane, they do it in simulation first.

Thank you and very encouraging post! Though I don't think it's possible for us to lose in the long-run, because the Right's position is self-destructive (even though ironically they believe they stand for self-preservation), there will therefore always be people with enough empathy to resist. However if you're talking about some battles, yes we will lose some because there are too many people who are willing to support things that will ultimately harm themselves, but the point is to keep going. Slavery, civil rights and the end of feudalism at some point all seemed impossible to get rid of but eventually they dod because there are always enough people who care about there fellow man and the planet. Ps. Don't be discouraged, you are definitely making a difference, no one can fight for a cause they do not understand, and you're doing a fantastic job educating people. I've personally learnt a lot from your videos.
