No matter how you slice it he scammed investors by lying about it’s capabilities

Pay for play politics. Trevor lied to his investors, pushed the prototype truck down a hill and said it was running on its own power…. The list goes on and on. If Bernie Madoff were alive he would have been pardoned too.

If Milton was also known for not paying contractors, I have no doubt Trump would adopt him or replace Eric with him.

He can only be pardoned for Federal crimes. Still subject to prosecution for State crimes.

Nikola was on a shoestring from start to finish. Come for the truck rolling down the hill. Stay for the 1 for 30 reverse split.

This is a tried and true practice of crime syndicate bosses. They grant favors in return for loyalty. Blackmail is one way to generate loyalty, and favors are another. The loyalty in either case comes at a price (total fealty). The criminals that are pardoned have demonstrated they will do anything to achieve their goals, including breaking laws and harming others. Just imagine what these people will be asked to do as the criminal empire expands. The Chief Justice granted this person total immunity from prosecution. This will not end well.

Trump, like Milton, is a crook. Those kinds of creeps stick together. And then, of course, there’s the large campaign contribution. ‘Nuff said.

4 years was not a lot of time, Trump should not have pardoned him. It was a bad move, but I'm not sure if it's due to corruption or just listening to the wrong people

Before passing judgment, I'd like to hear several details, transparently and honestly, why someone recommended the pardon. The devils in the details!

Pam Bondi's brother is Milton's lawyer. Reeks and I honestly can't believe Elon is still involved with this guy.

I love your polls, but could I ask a favor? When you preview them on Autoline daily, please don't show the current results. I think it skews results and I like the surprise of finding out the answer after I take the poll, not before. Thanks!

One criminal protecting another. Fire all the judges, police, and prosecutors! Freedom!

No way Trevor acted alone. Other people at the top in that company knew exactly what was going on. That being said it doesn't make him not guilty.

Whatever happened to Trevor's other legal problems from things he allegedly did to girls? Did he get an unlimited pardon for any and all crimes ever?

I am generally supportive of Trump, but I do oppose this particular pardon of his.

Trevor pardon: Not deserved but not disgusting. I don't expect perfection from Trump. He's a big improvement over democrats no matter who he pardons.

I wonder if "corruption" would be the word Autoline would use to describe Biden pardoning his son, his brothers, and his sister... But, we'll never know since it's not auto-centric news!

What do you think about President Trump pardoning Nikola founder Trevor Milton, who was convicted to serve 4 years in prison for securities and wire fraud?
