We're in the Rockies

Yesterday, we released a video, 10 Places That Should Be A National Park. We think that Snow Canyon of Utah is one of them! Where else should be a National Park? Put your answer in the comments!

Snow Canyon SP was a beautiful surprise for us. It has what the amazing Southern Utah charm is: red rocks, amazing formations, beautiful contrasts etc., BUT there almost no people there. We were there by ourselves most of the day in May last year. Such a contrast to crowds at Zion for example… Maybe we should shhhshshhs about it and not tell anyone, so that it stays this way?😉

Craters Of The Moon in Idaho. It's a national monument so it's almost there anyway. Idaho needs its own national park!

Sawtooth, valley of Fire, grand staircase (possibly be added to Capital Reef) Columbia Gorge , Sam Rafael Swell, Custer State Park, especially the pinnacle area, Should take North Rim of lake superior in Minnesota, The Apostle Islands! Also entire ocean shore of Oregan and throw into it Silver Falls State Park with it. Maybe Canyon De Chelly--'it could similarly ran as Monument Valley National Park.

I want it but I don’t want it at the same time, as it would mean more people will come there. But the Sawtooth Recreation Area in Idaho.

I don’t know if places east of the Mississippi are allowed, but both Pictured Rocks and Sleeping Bear Dunes in Michigan are worthy of national park status.

I think pretty much all of Utah should be a national park ;)

I live in Troutdale, Oregon at the west end of the Columbia River Gorge. I was thrilled to see it included in your list. My concern is how, if it became a national park, it would affect those of us who live virtually at its doorstep. Any thoughts?
