To clarify this wouldn’t be my literally putting a non-gamer in front of a PC but rather explaining it (same style as last vid)

"My kid wants to play league of legends, what is league of legends?" Very interesting concept. I can't wait to see.

I would be more interested in seeing you explain all genres. For example if I tried to explain rogue-likes to my dad he would be incredibly confused. "Wait son, so you died, and you're happy about it? What the hell?" Also your last video was incredible. It came at a perfect time for me, I'm a software engineer that was in a bit of a slump, and I had just gotten back into Factorio and was really playing the shit out of it when you posted.

I know games and I'd still watch it out of curiosity. I'll use the videos as reference later on when trying to get people into games or I'll just send them the links straight up

I would watch something like that, but I think if you introduced your parents to league of legends they would be well within their rights to disown you

I love that! Especially if you keep up the focus on how video game skills and real life skills are connected, and/or how video game genres and tropes are connected to other media. Also personally imo “Intro to [ ]” is too generic of a title/concept. I know you’re gonna have some cool spin to your analysis that you can slap on the front cover! Something a little more specific that highlights your fresh take. Ultimately though, as I’ve said to any creator who asked my opinion, the best project you can do is the one you’re excited to do. IMO that generates the best product 97% of the time.

Considering doing a series on introducing games and/or genres to non-gamers (e.g. parents). It'd be a series of videos like "Intro to League of Legends" or maybe just one giant video explaining all gaming genres. Would you be interested in watching something like that?
