Mikers

hey!!! yo!!! hahaha you may ask why am I in such a good mood? that's because I just watched ''Zootopia 2'' and this is ABSOLUTE PEAK CINEMA!!!!!!!!!🦊🐰

Of course it's not perfect, in some moments it seemed too cartoonishly silly to me (maybe it's because I'm 17 now and not 9, but still the first part seemed more serious to me) the ending is kinda too saccharine, there are some "undercooked" moments, but damn... some things and scenes in this movie are so amazing that they overshadow all the shortcomings for me.

The animation is amazing, the little details and references are spot-on, the fan service is incredible, and a banger new song. The humor was a bit silly in places, but 75 percent of the time it made me laugh.
It's a heartfelt and lovingly crafted film, something I understand is rare for Disney these days.

Remember the phrase "a story is only as good as its villain"? Well, I always thought that phrase was bulls**t. The villains here are... okay-ish? Nothing super impressive, but in my opinion, that doesn't hurt the film at all.

SPOILERS!!!!!!! (kinda)

Nick and Judy are still friends, the ship is still not canon. Personally, I like seeing them as friends (I need to see more non-romantic guy-girl duos in media...), but I've never been against people shipping them, especially since I understand the reasons for shipping them and that they are basically the PERFECT ship.
In the third act, Nick and Judy "confess their feelings for each other," and it's probably my favorite scene in the entire film. Not only was it incredibly touching, but the fact that they're still friends and not lovers after all makes it even better for me. The fact that they even basically said ''I love you'' in both movies and it doesn't make them a romantic couple makes me really happy (like, friends don't love each other or something?)I really want people to normalize the expression of deep feelings between friends, and that saying things like "no one in the world means more to me than you" can be appropriate in friendships. So this scene, in the context of Nick and Judy still being friends, is really important and sweet to me. That's it.

my subjective rating: 8.5 out of 10 (I rated the first part 9 out of 10, and overall it remains my favorite full-length animated film.)

I NEED a part 3. Seriously, I'm not ready to part with these characters so soon, I need more official content about them...
