Once I greet someone in Spanish they assume I'm more fluent than I am. I'm flattered, but my mind goes blank. 😆

For me it was not knowing how to create a shortened sentence because I never knew what a complete gramatical sentence was. Like, a Maria le duele la espalda. A simple sentence but the full structure is important to learn when adopting it into other forms of speech and how, where, and what you can cut from a sentence in spanish to still make sense.
