This is the official anti-lane Greninja checkpoint. I'll share my horror story to start things off. I had a game 2 days ago where I wanted to FINALLY play a game as an attacker but my team instalocked 3 attackers and an all-rounder so I chose a defender... again. A certain frog had the audacity to ping "supporter needed." My bottom lane was a duoq Cinderace and Greninja. Neither of them evolved until around 6 minutes into the match and both ended the game with under 20k dmg dealt. This was despite the fact that the enemy jungler ganked top lane and lived there while our jungler did the same on bottom lane. They managed to fumble a 3 vs. 2 for 6 minutes straight until Froakie became a Frogadier. Scorbunny on the other hand didn't become a Raboot until 40 seconds before Rayquaza. The enemy team was so fed that even with a huge 4 man stun with unite move + horn leech + curse reset + another horn leech my team still lost because Raboot went to backcap and Greninja used his unite move on Altaria during Ray. NEVER trust a lane Greninja.

There's a conspiracy going on for years in Unite that Goodra is bad. It's so damn op and you literally can't kill it unless it's bad and misses its beam

Lane Greninja isn’t the worst thing. It’s between that and Goodra, but lane Greninja def has more outplay potential than just being a walking meatshield that doesn’t do much against competent players.

I believe I recently went Solo Q'ed with Bottom Lane Greninja. Even made sure to record it but ended up getting a Penta alongside Rayquaza saving the whole team when all seemed lost 🥷🏼🌊

Goodra is my favorite pokemon. I bought a switch to play goodra in unite. I haven't played goodra in probably a year. My friends all think goodra is op because we stand 5 man in dragon pulse, but it's not op. I wish I could play goodra. He's a big derpy dragon that gives gooey hugs.

I'm a defender main, so I'd pick Goodra. Muddy Water over Dragon Pulse every time.

I main Goodra, and yeah that thing sucks. You can be a great Goodra player, but that doesn’t change what is fundamentally wrong with the Pokemon. You take the level of skill you have with it and put it into basically any other defender and you’re a much more valuable player. If I was as good at Umbreon as I was at Goodra, I’d be a much higher ranked player. I won’t stop playing it because it’s my favourite Pokemon and I love the moveset, but it won’t ever be good unless it gets drastic changes.
