The Minecraft Fandom Wiki is being absolutely brutalised to hell by the community.

I love this one though. Comment once you see it.

Ah yes, chiseled bookshelves, the best way to power an Enchanting Table.

@ZarHakkar

The chiseled bookshelves makes me think of an alternate version of enchanting in Minecraft where you have to collect enchanted books and put them into the bookshelves to make the enchantments show up in the enchanting table.

@mjdxp256

pffffft honestly this vandalism is completely justified, the fandom minecraft wiki is basically just a zombie wiki that's doing nothing but keeping people away from the actual minecraft wiki

There is a mod that adds the functionality of collecting enchantments and putting them in chiseled bookshelves to unlock them in the enchanting table, its called igneo's combat revamp on curseforge and its a great mod. The dev is Igneo 220 on youtube.

@Trashley652

I mean they're not wrong. That is in fact an enchanting table surrounded by chiseled bookshelves.

@etgrhrehgehetb

This is brilliant. I added The Aether to the list of dimensions in the game. Cheers!

@BacklitRadar

That would've been a good mod. The enchanting power can be stronger with every enchanted books there is

I feel like the main issue for MANY fandom wikis is when the moderators of the wikis have a stick up their asses to the point where any actual correction or simplification is slammed down for some stupid reason or rule that the moderator arbitrarily added. Like, i'm all for more specific wikis as when i'm getting into a game i want to know the nitty gritty of how a certain mechanic works, but not when it's something very self explanatory or when the "descriptive" description is just so needlessly complicated that you need to read it like 5 times to understand it like in this case. No the villagers are not "enchanting the books for emeralds instead of lapis" they're selling you an enchanted book, why go through the hassle of making a comparison between the two systems when they're completely separate systems that work in different ways? "Through a librarian villager, which sells enchanted books in exchange for a book and some emeralds. And just like every trade, this gives the player experience." Much more legible and understandable. You could add "For a list of trades that include enchanted books go to this section *name of the section+link*" at the end there for easy access to that information, too. And i'm all for flavour and personality in wikis, but only in the trivia section where you can make some jokes or some snarky remarks. But yeah, for a great wiki go look at the transformers wiki that's a goldmine.

I will forever hate the fandom wiki because it showed up above the main wiki and also made me miss the “A Furious Cocktail” achievement

@patchpen5613

The caption doesn't claim the chiseled bookshelves are DOING anything. This is perfectly accurate.

Wiki wars. What a time to witness tech.

@Jovian_Man

The Minecraft wiki is not alone however, and that there’s other wikis in fandom that is trapped. There’s like the BFDI Wiki, Googology Wiki, NMS wiki, etc.
