Would You Rather Live in Extreme Heat or Extreme Cold? 🔥❄️

📺 In tomorrow’s Full Nature Documentary, we’re taking a look at Life at the Limits! Specifically, how life flourishes at the extremes of the temperature range on our planet. From Polar Bears to Tortoises, animals have learned how to adapt to rapid changes in their environment!

But how about you? If you had to choose, where would you want to live?

Cold: bundle up next to a fire and be cozy. Heat: get naked next to a fan and be miserable.

The way i see it, if lost in the woods and it’s cold, you can make a fire and warm up. It is MUCH more complex to make an HVAC system! (Humid-Heat here in Florida is especially bad as on some days evaporative cooling (LIKE SWEAT) barely works anymore 💀) Granted “bone chilling” cold / having your face be cold due to lack of coverings can be rough as well, but in terms of “pick your poison”, i know mine

You can beat the cold. The heat beats you.

You can always add on layers of clothing. You can't always take layers off.

@luyrian1280

Cold solution is much easier Animal skin or somth But for heat , u should make something like vantilator minimum

@Utilenam

The people who are selecting extreme cold I had to say I have seen civilization in desert but never in antartika

You can somewhat dress for the cold. You cannot dress for the heat. You cannot UNdress for the heat. If you didn't grow up in it, I don't think you can tolerate it. I'm from Thunder Bay, Ontario. It's not Antarctica, but it's damn cold. I know I'd be better able to tolerate cold

@probegt75

I can always build a fire to stay warm. I hate humidity.

Too much icky stuff survives in the heat. 🐍 bugs, alligators, 🐊, other stuff I'd rather not come into contact with. Plus 🥵 is exhausting the cold you can create warmth and still have a chill, refrigeratorate food, and have drinking water

@EyeSeeThruYou

Florida has entered the chat Freezing to death can be, we have been told, less traumatic than death by dehydration and heat exhaustion.

@anthonylocke3366

i wouldn't,do any of them,but that's solely in today's world,ice caps melting forcing polar bears to move from what was once there domain,other artic/antarctica animals suffering due to this change,or will do,as for extreme hot weather,after recent temps in UK,which yh ok is lower than other countries I've had enough of our recent hot weather,let alone a hotter climate,I'd rather stay in our mid climate country thanks 🤣👍
