Its not very often I post something like this, but my mate and fellow plane spotter Jase and his family are taking part in the Mystery Box Rally in order to raise money for the Cancer Council. Our Story …
We are really happy to announce that we're taking part in Mystery Box Rally in 2025!! We know what's like to a lose a family member too soon, we know other's who have lost loved ones and we stand with those fighting cancer right now. We are doing this for Dani & you.. We are preparing our 1998 Purple people eater themed Tarago called Grimace which we hope will survive the harsh outback roads.
We will do approximately 2,500kms in 5 days. We set off from Broken Hill on August 16 2025 which would of been our sister in law's 52nd Birthday. Sadly she passed at 48 leaving my brother and son behind. We will return to Broken Hill 5 days later, each day in between is a mystery, we have no idea where we will be headed until just before departure the next morning.
Mystery Box Rally is one of the largest community lead fundraising events for Cancer Council in Australia having raised over $8 million in the last 12 years.
In order for us to participate we need to raise minimum $4,000 and every dollar raised goes to Cancer Council. We would very much appreciate it if you could donate to the cause & help us on our journey!
