I haven't upgraded and I won't upgrade til they announce the next one (I upgraded to Windows 7 and the day I brought the laptop home they announced Windows 8)

Still doesn't make any sense to discontinue support just to sell more bogged down and worse versions ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ i wonder if anybody's considered making an operating system that can do the thing lately? Windows 98 still does it all, if you're not snooty about everything.

Regarding the end of free support for Windows 10, I've been using Windows 11 with this Dell Precision M6800 laptop since I bought it a couple years ago, and it runs just fine on this beefy PC (Intel quad-core i7 with 2.90 GHz, 32 GB of RAM, 2 TB of storage, and an AMD Radeon E8950 GPU).
