PREACH!! SAY IT FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE BACK!! Of course there's going to be similarities in edits, but it's NOT just because one editor's copying another. Several editors use the same fonts and other things, but some of their edits are still uniquely their own. It's also JUST a font, there's several different types on different editing platforms. Many editors look up too or idolize editors that might've been around before them, which is totally okay!! They get inspiration from those editors to create their own editing style and grow their channel. Can people just PLEASE understand the difference between INSPIRATION (EXAMPLE: which is getting an idea from another editor's and GIVING credits for the idea) and COPYING (EXAMPLE: doing the EXACT SAME THING as someone else because it looks "cool" or whatever) It's also annoying when you get accused of copying someone else's edit when it's your own original idea. Not every editor is known by everyone in the community. It's also kind of ridiculous Laumy has to make a post about this, it's also sad seeing such an immature community and seeing them not able to read before making an argument for the wrong thing. (I just woke up, hope you're getting the idea I'm wanting to saw but I agree with you in the end! It is frustrating!!)

Inspired is like using a refrence for an art peice Its only copying if you steal majority of that art peice Copying is like for example using 60%+ (just an example number) of someones editing/artstyle and claiming its yours (Ofc its okay if you ask if you can edit in their style for one edit and they give permission) But unless they said you can dont do that Idk if that made any sense
