Walk Her Through Life

🌿 Thursday - “Truth Talk Thursday”
"Healing isn’t a straight path. Some days you bloom. Some days you break. Both are part of the journey.” – DeShala
Healing is a deeply personal experience, and it’s not defined by how others think it should look. There’s no manual for it, no set timeline. Sometimes, the progress is visible, like a flower opening its petals to the sun—full of hope, strength, and resilience. Other times, it feels like we’re breaking apart—like the weight of our past is too much to bear. But what I’ve learned is that both experiences are valid and essential.
There’s this misconception that healing should always feel like moving forward, but the truth is, we often face setbacks. These moments of pain or uncertainty don’t mean that healing isn’t happening. Sometimes, breaking down is necessary to rebuild stronger. It’s okay to not always have it together.
When we bloom, we take a step closer to the person we were always meant to be. We embrace our strength, find our voice, and experience joy in moments that once felt out of reach. But even when we break—when we feel like we’re falling apart—it’s just another part of the transformation. Like the earth after a storm, the brokenness gives way to new growth.
This journey isn’t about perfection; it’s about showing up, even when you don’t have all the answers. It’s about trusting that every high and every low is leading you somewhere meaningful. So be gentle with yourself. Allow the blooms and the breaks. Trust that they both have a purpose.
Take a moment to reflect on the moments this week where you’ve felt you were blooming. Now, acknowledge the moments where you felt you were breaking. Both are part of the journey—how can you embrace both as you continue healing?
Share your journey with us. Let us know: What did you learn from the moments you felt you were "breaking"? How did you bloom through it?
Healing isn’t a perfect path. Some days feel hard, but every single step brings us closer to peace. Allow yourself the grace to grow through what you go through. 💜
