Hey everyone! So this is a bit of an important announcement.
If you don’t want to hear the details, the following text block basically just says how I will be posting less WoF content, and more content that I enjoy. Sounds scary, I know, so if you’re confused, read the block.
So over the past few months, I’ve been struggling to maintain my motivation to create pure WoF content. I started this channel with the intent of posting whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted, but now I’m beginning to find that much more difficult with the growing pressure of having a whole community behind me. I mean, don’t get me wrong, 2k+ Subscribers?!?? I’m absolutely at awe as to how many people like my content, but it’s also quite scary. I’ve seen many YouTubers give in to the pressure of becoming a big channel, and I never fully understood that until now. It IS scary, and it IS stressful. Even if I am not monetizing my content, it’s still a bit freaky to think about how many people are watching it. I’ve also been struggling with my art style, I’ve been getting harder and harder on myself as to how bad my art is compared to other YouTubers with even less subscribers than I. So I’ve been putting off content to begin working on my art so as to improve my self-esteem. I’ve been doing many art studies rather than working in content and that’s also been stressing me out. WoF, despite how great it is, isn’t just my one passion. But I’ve been feeling really pressured to just post canon WoF content that I’ve been neglecting my other interests. I love Spider-Man, I love TMNT, LoZ, and so many more things, but I’ve noticed that when I post something that isn’t related to WoF, It gets substantially less views than if I were to keep up with the ‘theme’ of the channel. So I force myself to make some content that I know you all love. But I’m starting to not really love it anymore.
Therefore, i’ve decided to keep your suggestions for content on hold, and focus on content that better suits ME. Content that makes me happy to make. I’ll be making WoF content, but it’s also going to have variation! Mix things up a bit.
