1976. Wow. I was 16 and Night Move was my favorite album! I hear it and I go back to such a great time to be a teen, riding around with your fella and friends, stopping in the country, dancing in the road, bonfires, game rooms, I was blessed! Bob Seger’s music is the soundtrack to my life.

My favorite song of all time. Im 61 now and have heard Night Moves countless times, yet it still sends me to a special place in my mind even today. Its the only non Christian song I've requested to be played at my funeral. It means that much to me. Thanks Bob, for all your music

Bob Seger
"It was inspired by the movie American Graffiti. It was all about cars and peg pants and rolled-up T-shirts with a cigarette pack up here and stiletto pointed shoes. That’s how I grew up, that was my high-school years."
Night Moves - released today in 1976
