I never understood the point of hating Bruno Mars just because he named “Gangnam Style” and “APT” as the biggest hits by Asians till now, ofcourse these two songs are timeless classics which will not easily slip off from anyone’s mind. Charting a song #1 on Billboard Hot 100 doesn’t equate it with these two songs. “APT” and “Gangnam Style” ranked #1 and #5 respectively, the most #1s across all countries and guess what? No other Asian song was on the list.
Calling “APT” a ‘children’s song’ just shows how diverse the genre of this song is that even kids enjoy it. There might be many hits by Asians but not comparable with these two evergreens.
And also, I’m appalled by the inexplicable nature of K-pop fans, just because Bruno didn’t mention your fav group’s song that means he hates your fav group, so now exulting in own shine is also prohibited?, make it make sense because why would a 16th time Grammy winner hate a group?, you all are so insecure of not getting your favs mentioned by pop artists, aren’t you all? This is exasperating at this point.
