I think +/-2 really is an unfair thing towards people in the lower tier, especially if the vehicle is stock, they are barely able to do something.

This is a start. There’s also the problem with vehicle matchups eg elc vs whatever and player matchups throwing better players on one side and not the other. Then you also have the issue of platoons which skews the mm in their favor.

So far I'm cautiously optimistic about all content in 2.0, apart from 2 and a half things: 1) the reshuffling of the garage UI - I love the new look, but I don't like the fact that the UI is getting less informative - you need to click a lot more to get to the vehicle stats and crew skills. 2) The removal of Encounter and Assault game modes - literally ⅓ of the map scenarios will be gone in a week from now. 2.5) The armour flashlight is not giving me good vibes at all, but we will see about it - the community is very split, I have to test it for myself.

They need to match players ratings and that will be perfect then, fast battles are happening because one side have average rating 3000 and other side is like 7000 which completely ruins gaming experience for each side.

I'd rather have old MM back if it means I can keep Assault, Encounter and Grand battles. Straight random battles is so boring.

I stopped playing when the Lootboxes took over and that will stay the reason until i hear otherwise, the full rebalancing etc. Is a good way to start but wont fix the Problem itself, still i will Look Out for it.

Well the MM problem is not just in tanks but its more in players. Like for example i played in Prohorovka and there was only 1 light tank in each team. So basically 2 EBRS, our EBR player rating is just over 3k and enemy EBR player 9k+. So u dont need to be smart to know how that battle gonna end.

The tanks are not the problem. If that would be the case onslaught wouldn't work. No it is rather the uneven teams in respect of player skill. My suggestion is to make 2 different ques, one with balanced tanks and one where players are in balance and only one tier of tanks with some similar type and then check witch one the players prefer.

In worst case it's still 11 support tanks. 4 TDs, 3 LTs and 1 Arta would have been a lot better

Problem with the one sided battles is the power creep of the game overall, tanks do more damage and there faster now than they used to be, good players play more aggressive and bad players tend to camp.

I think it will help, not sure if it will fix things but we will have to wait and see. I know some prem tanks are being buffed but what will happen to tanks with pref MM, these will have been purchased to avoid the +/-2 originally, if they are buffing many tanks what will happen?

The 15 to 5 games are because we have way too much firepower and the 3 corridor maps. +-2 or +-1 mm wont change most battles because most of the time thats not the problem. Sure some of the landslides are due to unbalanced teams, but mostly because poor team deployment and skill. One team has a couple good agressive players theh steam roll through one side of the map. Then what ever is left of the enemy is in a crossfire. And the better players of the loosing team farm couple tanks that are racing for the leftover damage. The reaction time from flanking enemy to fully clearing the enemy team is so fast that there is often nothing you can do to stop it. Typical game in a world of tanks. You arrive to a area your tank is suited to play. You either outnumber your enemy or they outnuber you. If the forces are equal the first set of fire annihilates the first person to make a mistake or due to a agressive skilled play. Then the snowball of the match begins with in a minute of the first excange 2/3 of the force on that flank is annihilated, because multiple layers of dpm and autoloading tanks or bz. Last tanks are trying and most of the time failing to retreat. Flanking play opens and the opposite side of the map becomes a crossfire where there is no cover to play in. You either rush for the leftover damage or dig in as best you can and farm what little damage you can depending witch end of the stick you got handed. The tanks are too fast and have too much firepower. There is no room for mistakes. For example one time i peaked with is2-ii over a ridge and in two seconds my turret blocked 4000 damage. Enough to destroy the tank two times over. I remember looking at track repair times 10 years ago and thinking ok now i have 10second repair time so im not likely to be double tracked. Now if you wait 10 seconds you are in garage.

Its the player service wot record dez when there is a match with huge difference in experience player ( the wot service record ) then we gonna find most wild shit in the battle like a assault heavy stand in the bushes … ofc the 3 lights are a lot especially when they getting hp increased In my opinion to fix this do you know how the tire works in +2 matchmaking right ? Will do the same for wot service record ( player with 7k will meet his own higher level player like 10k player or less he met 4k or 5k player ) and same goes for the others ranks ( they already made ranks on wot service record so i dont think WG will need to take long time to do that .. but ofc you it will decades to get patched )

Released a video about new MM, featuring +-1 MM option as well, check it out here: https://youtu.be/44u1gGYVaCs?si=nHsnz...
Do you think all this will fix the battles? And also, what would be something you would chance even more?
