"The End Game"
This morning, The Lord woke me up at 5:13 AM. My first thoughts was being reminded that I'm in the midst of spiritual warfare and loud voices trying to challenge my faith, mock my Savior, and twist truth, After reflecting on these things I was led to six powerful scriptures—all chapter 5, verse 13.
And I believe He’s reminding me—and maybe you too—about The End Game.
John 5:13 reminds me that even when people don’t see Jesus, He’s still healing. Still moving. Still changing lives—including mine. Even if they don’t know Him yet, it doesn’t mean He’s not real.
Matthew 5:13 says I am the salt of the earth. That means I have flavor, purpose, and preserving power in a world that’s slowly decaying. But if I lose that flavor trying to argue with everyone or defend myself against every attack, what good is it? I’ve got to stay salty.
Galatians 5:13 reminds me that I’m free—but not to fight in the flesh. I’m called to serve in love, even when the world slings hate. That’s not weakness—that’s obedience.
James 5:13 tells me what to do in the meantime. If I’m in trouble, I pray. If I’m rejoicing, I praise. I don’t react to darkness with more darkness—I go straight to the Source of light.
Ephesians 5:13 promises that everything will be exposed by the light. The lies. The confusion. The attacks. All of it will be brought into the open. And not only that—what is illuminated becomes a light.
Revelation 5:13 zooms all the way out and reminded me of the endgame. Every creature in heaven and on earth will one day give Jesus the glory, whether they acknowledge Him now or not. He wins. That’s it.
So, to the ones throwing shade on Jesus, mocking truth, or calling the Bible irrelevant—I see you. But more importantly, God sees you. And even now, His mercy is reaching for you.
But as for me? I won’t waste my pearls. I won’t lose my flavor. I won’t stop shining. Because I already know how His story ends.
I pray this encourages and inspires my fellow bible believers. As followers of Christ, we’re called to always speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15), but also to discern when it’s time to shake the dust off our feet (Matthew 10:14) and entrust the rest to God.
