I just got done reading “Dear Mrs Bird” by AJ Pearce. It was SO good. Set in London during ww2 bombings. Zero spice and clean. It follows what women were doing during the war. So so good.

I was a vivid fantasy reader in my teens but nowadays I don't enjoy reading as much. I still have some comfort reads but other than that I don't enjoy reading as much anymore.

I love reading, but don't do it as often as I like. But Cat, I can tell you this, which you may love or hate the idea, my husband and a friend of ours have started a reading club (technically restarted, this friend and I used to do this before I met my husband). We meet up bi-weekly and read. We read our own books. It's not a book club. We may or may not discuss the books, or catch up on life in between chapters. We meet up at a local coffee shop and it's such a great atmosphere. Lately we've been doing this at the beach.

It's not that I don't like to read because I used to read all the time. My problem is the adhd takes over and I have trouble concentrating and end up reading the same paragraph over and over.
