To Pritchett Family & SWFEC Moderator Team Thank You All for allowing us the pleasure of watching Harriet & M15 through the years. They are quite the power couple and we were blessed to see their antics carried out. Harriet was so funny as she would "kick" M15 to say hey, let's go, I want Eggs ~ Lol Being able to watch the entire process of the Eagle's preparation for the next eaglets to "hatch" Each new family has their own special place in our hearts. Harriet & M15 will always be in our hearts. Prayers for E21 & E22 for M15 & for Dear Harriet 🕊🦅🦅🦅🦅🕊 Safe Pass

What a warrior Harriet is! Flies aggressively, but majestically as always, out of sight into the presence of her enemies ready to engage for battle. This is befitting this legendary eagle I believe. My dearest hope is she will return yet.

M15 has done an excellent job. His behavior has changed to mommy and daddy. He is wonderful. I hope he keeps it up. I know eventually he’s gonna need a break and it is sad to see the bigger egglett beat up on the little one but the outcome is at least they’re both eating. I love M 15 and I love Harriet I have been watching them for many years. It’s devastating to sense the worst or the outcome which doesn’t look very promising. My daughter is autistic. She grew up watching Harriet and kept her not just safe but kept her growing every time something would bother her. She’s leaning towards watching Harriet and that TV was on 24 seven she fell asleep to Harriet. She woke up to Harriet and she had a bad dream. She woke up to Harriet I don’t know what is the outcome is either Yes, Harriet they both the family eagle family means a lot to us so if there’s any chance God please bring her home please find her way home if she’s injured please someone find her on time or please let us know soon what the outcome is because it’s just breaking our hearts Harriet is lots the type to leave and to have babies that are that young they are a great couple. Thank you for listening to our prayers God and hopefully will know soon something God bless you all. Please keep praying for her and I am and the eagletts and M!!! please come home Harriet!

I am so very sad. I've watched this beautiful couple for three years, taking such special care, rebuilding the nest n finally laying two eggs. Watches their determination and resilience has aided me just a bit in coming to terms with my husband's death a year ago. I'm just so sad. Harriet would never leave her babies. I pray she's getting help n attention n will come back soon. M15, will have a hard time keeping himself fed along with the eaglets as well as keeping them from intruders. Let's all pray that Harriet will return. This will b so touch on one eagle to feed, watch for intruders n find food for himself. Pls come home lil Harriet. U were the perfect mom n M 15 is holding his on. Watching then daily has helped my grieving so much. Just giving my brain a break n now my heart is breaking for this lil family. Pls God, bring mom home. Dad needs help with it all. It's heartbreaking but I understand, we humans make this worse usually when we get involved. My whole family watched the eagles in her classroom. So many across this nation are praying for Harriet. I have tears flowing. Seems heart break follows me. God, pls Harriet home. Ur babies need u. We all need u.

Thank you for this information about the care and well being of the eagle family in SWFL. This nest has more groups and followers than any other nest and so I am sure that you are being flooded with posts. We all hope that Harriet will return if she can do so. We pray that the eaglets continue to grow and develop in the nest but realize that the professionals will decide. I would hope that if Harriet does not return that a female will help M15 as males have done for females in similar situations. Decorah nest is my reference. These two nests seem similar to me at this point. Again. Thanks for keeping your fans and followers updated. Prayers for all of you 🙏🦅❤

M15 is such a wonderful dad, he has been feeding E21 and E22. Morning, noon and early evening. He perches above them during the night. 8:am -8:30am you will find him feeding both eaglets. 2 fish so far this morning and it's 8:42am. Good job M... We are praying for you and those out hoping to spot Harriet. A few cold nights coming up. Keep up the good work. 🙏♥️🦅🙏♥️🦅02/10/2023. Lunch around noo

I thank those in charge for making this statement and continuing with their important decisions. I think it’s important and would like to see the rest of us simply to be supportive. We can be supportive by choosing to watch, or if you’re like me, be supportive by choosing not to watch. I check in occasionally, but it’s too painful for me to resume my normal participation, since Harriet has disappeared. I love this nest and have been a faithful observer, since E9. However, it’s time that I get out of the way of others making the best decisions and restrain myself from being critical, negative or too emotional. I will resume my normal participation, when I can be less emotional. What is happening is called Nature…and she can be very cruel. I wish others would see the importance of just being supportive, particularly in these emotional moments. Thank you Pritchett farm, SWFL organization, CROW, etc. I trust you, support you, and I’ll be checking in occasionally. God bless you Harriet, M15, E21 and E22. I pray the best for you and I thank you for giving me some some wonderful memories. I’ll be back soon.❤️

Southwest Florida Eagle Cam
Harriet has not been seen on camera since Thursday afternoon. When she left the camera view (heading ENE) she had been vocalizing at intruders in the area.
Both the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife (CROW) and FWC are aware of the situation. All decisions concerning Bald Eagles are made by Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), not by us, the camera owners. Viewers are reminded that we are merely observers and not all nesting seasons result in a positive outcome.
Not only are SWFEC followers keeping an eye out for Harriet; local news media picked up the story. It is hoped many in the SWFL area are keeping an eye out for Harriet. If you see or find any injured wildlife, please contact CROW immediately.
Any information as to the welfare of wildlife should come from the proper authorities.
PLEASE DO NOT INCITE ILLEGAL ACTIONS. Baiting or artificial feeding encourages bold behavior. By presenting food near the nest/road it encourages more wildlife to the area (not only birds, but small mammals). This is a recipe for disaster - especially in SWFEC’s location. Not only does it bring more predators, but there is the risk of accidents involving motor vehicles and power lines.
M15 has been protecting his young and has even managed to bring food to the nest. He isn’t used to not having a mate to care for the young. He is used to having his own time away from the nest - and it is amazing how he has quickly changed that behavior.
At this age, it is very difficult for one eagle to raise the young alone. It is not impossible and we have seen success stories in the past…. unfortunately, these are not that common, but in nature you can never say never. M is doing his very best to give both Eaglets enough food during the day. As seen this evening, both E’s have full crops!
Emotions are high and the outcome of our beloved Eagle family is uncertain. Please be assured we all want the best for this eagle family; but we need to remember the final outcome as to what will be done rests with the proper authorities.
