Shattered web was a battlepass already, they called it "operation pass" at the time but it was alright

I mean, they did it first with DOTA, so I can totally see it happening. It can actually benefit Valve and us in some ways. That means more content, which means more cosmetics, which means more selling on the market, which means Valve can bolster price pools for the majors. Paris is gonna be $1,250,000, but what about next year's major? It could be 2 or even 3 million.

The simple reason why game companies move to ftp and battlepasses is because it's just way more profitable than making a one time purchase, so probably.

its possible, but i think the system already in place is effective enough. its a 50/50

I don't get why people are so upset with video games adding an extra source of revenue that dosen't interfere with the gameplay aspect at all...

The “operation passes” they have added in the past are just glorified battle passes but they are alright

Is CS:GO Source 2 really coming out Akshon ESports? I've been very confused considering there's so many people joking about whether it's true or not.

Do you think Valve will implement a battle pass system in CS:GO 2?
