I always watch what is happening in front of me. I have TSA precheck as well. It does not matter what they do at other airports, it only matters at the airport you are at when you go through TSA. Today the bags go in bins and stand up, tomorrow it will be no bins and lying down. Today, I can keep my coat on, tomorrow I have to strip down to my tshirt.... it is whatever TSA agent says, no mater what line you are in. Always keep smiling.... or you will go crazy..... love your channel. 🥰

Went through Atlanta airport a few days ago from Korea. Our TSA there and at my airport were horrible. They were making fun of people out loud, angry, and hated their jobs from what I witnessed. In other countries, they were strict but polite, and if someone did something wrong, they corrected him/her, but didn’t mock them. And I don’t want to hear they are under stress bs; people in the military and in police are under stress, but they don’t treat others like crap.

I wish all airports would have consistent guidelines. One airport wants the bag in one bin and jacket and purse in another. The next airport says to put it all in one bin. The agent looks at me as if I'm crazy and says, "Why would we make you use separate bins?" All I can do is smile and shrug my shoulders.

I have TSA Pre✅ (w/Global Entry—a Godsend!) & the requirements can be different even then. But I don’t take off my shoes, ever!!

I got TSA PreCheck this year and went through the Atlanta airport last week quickly with no problems...so it was totally worth it, for me anyway

New scanners maybe ? It’s probably easier to see what’s in the cases and bags like this for the tsa staff. The easier and quicker it is means a better experience for passengers.

I’ve kept quiet for a long while, but some of these rules are not easy when you are vertically challenged. It’s not a muscle thing either.

I'm so glad I am not financially in a place to travel. Fear of not knowing the rules because each airport does it differently really adds to travel stress. It's truly more fear of how the agents respond to you not knowing (with judgement)

I use the Nomad Lane backpack on a daily basis for work/commute. It’s a good one!

Every airport I have been through recently did their TSA checks differently. Grand Rapids, leave everything in your bags. DFW take out laptops and tablets. Both of them wanted the carryon on the conveyer. But, Detroit? Carryon in one bin, everything else in another. And, Detroit had me keep everything in the bags, too. I don’t have PreCheck. I’m just a lowly normal who goes through the regular line. 😂

You're so lucky to be able to take all that hand luggage. Some airlines in Australia only allow a TOTAL cabin baggage allowance of 7kg. That includes a personal item!! That's almost nothing!!

Travel Tips by Laurie
✈️ Update from Atlanta's Airport 💙 All bags had to go in the bin with the luggage standing up like they do in the NEO airplane overhead bins. I was surprised everything fit! Travel tip: watch the people ahead of you, listen to the officers and just do your best. And smile; it's your vacation! #traveltip
