Pandemonium

Unity 6 is looking good, and it feels like the company is moving in the right direction!
I've been using it for a couple prototypes and it generally feels good, easy to use and pretty smooth (although it still loads pretty slowly 😂).

Here are some of the upcoming improvements & features they announced:
● Improved performance and stability
● Better rendering performance & better visuals
● Enhanced productivity and functionality
● Easier multiplayer integration
● Runtime AI
● Unified URP & HDRP into a single render pipeline (SRP)

Overall, I'm excited and eager to test all the new features. The fact that they cancelled the runtime fee and focused on important features feels like a big step in the right direction. Still, Unity is a publicly traded company and the management has to appease the investors, so don't put all your eggs into the Unity basket and keep learning other engines as well.
