I have heard other content creators report this same phenomenon; that their subscribers are not being shown the creator's content through the Subscription Feed. I've thought about this on and off for months (probably more like years) and I wonder if it has something to do with subscribers being subscribed to a very, very high number of content creators. Because if a subscriber is subscribed to say, 100 different content creators, and a different 50 or 30 or even 20 of those creators post some sort of content daily, YouTube simply has to pick and choose what to add to each subscription feed. Because if every single piece of content that every single one of those content creators posts got added to the subscribers subscription feed, it would be too overwhelming, making the use of YouTube actually less enjoyable/addictive? Thus users of the YouTube app would spend less time using the app and that would result in the company losing money. And also, the longer YouTube exists the more content creators there are to subscribe to. And the longer a someone uses YouTube the greater the number of content creators they are likely to be subscribed to. Or something like that. All of this is just my two cents. But I've never heard anyone else talk about the idea that the phenomenon might have a lot to do with subscribers being subscribed to an enormous number of content creators.
